Today we had our first experience with Andrew being "on-call". He had the day off today (they get a 4-day weekend for Labor Day...love the government!), so we told Cooper we would take him to Chuck E. Cheese because he has been peeing in the night and kept his pull-up dry. We got to Chuck E. Cheese, played about 3 games, and the cell phone rang! Off we were, back home...since we only took one car...and now he is at the clinic. Joy! I was surprised at how well the boys took it though. Cooper has some concern for the guy with a toothache. Just hope we can make it through the Cardinals game tonight! I have new sympathy for all my friends whose husbands have, or are, residents!

- "Team Mom" to an amazing "dentist" husband, three crazy, cuddly, busy, exhausting, rewarding boys: Cooper, Gunner and Beckett - and a baby GIRL on the way July 16th. Our family started July 8, 2000 and our adventures have taken us from our hometowns of Coeur d'Alene, ID and Spokane, WA to live in Oklahoma, Utah, Cleveland, St. Louis (where Andrew completed a 1-year AEGD residency), and now Whiteman Air Force Base near Kansas City, where Andrew is a dentist until August... when we will move back (hopefully permanently) to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. We also enjoy traveling to much of the country...mostly visiting baseball parks. I feel so blessed to have an amazing family, loyal friends, and most importantly the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I am with ya Cassie the on-call thing is NO FUN. I only have two more years of this stuf to go WAHOO.
what a bummer! i am always surprised at how many "emergency" calls matt's dad and brother get during off hours. good luck!
The first few times Jared was on-call and we tried to go somewhere, he'd always get called in. Now, we sit home waiting and the cell phone never goes off. Figures huh!
