Yes, if you are wondering if that is POOP all over Gunner's face, you are right! This post is not for weak stomachs...but, I have to document this. I didn't get enough pictures (if you can imagine me snapping these in my rage), but he woke up this morning and decided to explore down the back of his dirty pants. It was on the crib, sheet, blanket, clothes, hands and face! The nice thing is he did seem to feel some remorse. I only wish I had a white crib, so I can be sure I got it ALL off! Let's hope he felt bad enough that he'll NEVER do it again!
I couldn't help but flashback to when Cooper was about his age (maybe a few months younger), and decided to AJAX the living room, his toy box, his book shelf, the couch... I was SO mad!
It all happened in the 7 minutes I was blow drying my hair. He got the bottle from under the kitchen sink, and there was a trail to the living room. He used the WHOLE BOTTLE! I remember going to playgroup later that morning and crying to the girls that I have never wanted to beat my child so bad (don't worry, I held back!). AJax has bleach in it too, so I had to vacuum everything up then either tub clean or dishwasher all of his toys. I was beating the couch like a mad woman trying to get all the AJax dust out...needless to say our living room smelt clean for a while after.
What crazy things have your 2-year-olds done?! I can't be the only mom with kids this bad! Please, give me some solace!

That is horrible - I feel for you. Good for you for taking pics and blogging about it. That always helps me calm down and put things in perspective - at least a little bit! I'm laughing because I totally remember when you came to the park crying the day Cooper did the AJAX thing! I can't think of any major messes my kids have made lately but my kids fight like crazy and have bad tempers - really bad! So NO, you are not the only one with naughty two-year olds : )
I'm just glad that you had the sense to document it all before you cleaned it up. I never remember to take pictures, even of the gross stuff! And to clean it up while pregnant, I am so sorry for you! Anyway, your kids have the cutest little puppy dog looks when they are in trouble! The only thing my kids have ever made messes with are the entire toilet paper roll, and Jack LOVES to dump out whole bags of chips onto the floor. Nothing like Ajax or poop though!
GROSS!! Poor you, Cass! That is so disgusting and i CANNOT believe you actually had it together enough to take pictures...I'd be worried he'd be running around smearing it all over everything while I was trying. That AJAX episode doesn't feel like that long ago. Good thing 2 year olds eventually turn 3, huh :).
Oh man Cassie, not fun and quite nasty. My kids have not done the poop thing YET but I know it is common. You will just have these for later in life when you need some leverage. Nasty...
Oh my gosh, Cass! I can't believe you held it together long enough to take pictures! That is so gross. I bet he won't try that again. One day he will be mortified at the site of himself covered in poop! My kids haven't gotten into poop, but I think they have done about everything else. Kids....
That is so frieking hilarious!! hahaha. This seriously made me laugh out loud. I am just beginning my adventure with little boys...I can feel it. What did I get myself into??! :)
Oh, Cassie! You should take a break and a 4 hour drive and come stay with me for a day or two. I wouldn't have been able to clean up the poop and Jared would have just been a baby dry-heaving over it, so good for you for being so tough! Gracie hasn't done anything like that, but we did just have to buy her a monkey harness/leash because she gives herself running tours of everywhere we go including the kitchens of most restaurants and I can't run fast enough to catch her anymore. Every kid has their thing, huh?
Nash did that once. He was supposed to be taking a nap, so he was probably in his crib for 1/2hr while I was talking to my mom on the phone about the HORRIBLE day I was already having. I got off the phone and went to check on him. And there was poop everywhere!! I was SOOO mad. He was two years old as well. There was poop on all his bedding, on his crib, on the floor. His hands and arms were plastered and it looked like he had rubbed and rubbed them so his arms were all brown. And it was dried and caked on there. I just put him in a colder (not cold) bath and let him sit there and cry while I cleaned it up. He never did that again. So, I can feel your pain. It was so disgusting!
Ohhhhhhhh, been there, done that. lol. I'm sorry; being a mom should really pay better. :) I really can't believe you had the clarity mind to take the pics. I’m usually fighting the urge to lie down, and kick and scream, in my own fit of self pity over matters such as this.
I just love stories like that...I just laugh and laugh...not to make fun of you, but because I have been there as well! And being really mad and taking pictures at the same time...that is a talent! I just can't stop laughing at Gunner's face with the poop all over it! That is the best! By the way...Ryder was WAY TOO YOUNG for disneyland...He wasn't one bit of fun, and he cried on all the rides I took him on. He is almost 18 months. But when we took River 2 years ago at 3 1/2, he LOVED it, so, by 3 1/2 they have fun.
Totally remember the Cooper incident! I don't which one is worse...
Ewww! That is so funny. Luke was all about poop for a while. Sometimes when we'd put him down for a nap he'd poop in his diaper take it off and smear it all over Caden's bed. Nice. And the Ajax looks like something i would just have to not look at for a while before i started cleaning it up. How overwhelming. How did you clean it up??
Poor Cassie! That is too funny! Don't you just love the things we as moms get to do :) I'm definitely impressed you got the camera out and were able to get a couple pictures. Lucy had a similar incident on the couch the other day. I won't go into the gory details, but it sure was not a fun one to clean up!!

WOw! I had to read it twice to make sure I got the poop part right! Gross!! It looks like it has been pretty eventful at your house, AJAX tOO! Oh ya and the tornado that stuff scares me more than anything!
